During the opening over of the 223-run chase at the HPCA Stadium, Kohli was observed gesturing to Romario Shepherd to move into a finer mid-on position.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured an immediate breakthrough against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday as Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed opener Priyansh Arya for a duck. The dismissal was credited to a tactical adjustment by Virat Kohli, who repositioned a fielder just moments before the wicket. During the opening over of the 223-run chase at the HPCA Stadium, Kohli was observed gesturing to Romario Shepherd to move into a finer mid-on position. Arya immediately mistimed his shot that took the toe-end of the bat and went to that exact location, where Shepherd completed a sharp catch.
